September 5, 2009 - Rockland, Maine, United States
A sad morning - a nasty seagull ate my blueberry pancakes! It took a good workout at the Boothbay Harbor YMCA to get me back in a good mood. We hit the road again and made Waterman's Beach in South Thomaston in time for an amazing lunch. Fabulous lobster roll (different from Red's but equally delish) and gorgeous setting on the water, so peaceful. Then up to Rockland/Rockport/Camden. We visited a few hotels trying to find the perfect place and finally found the Cedar Crest Inn just north of...

September 4, 2009 - Boothbay Harbor, Maine, United States
We enjoyed breakfast at the Inn, then settled in at the KBC Coffee Shop for Rusty to work a little. I took a walk and saw a neat monastery and the White Barn Inn - pretty town. Hit the road and stopped in Wiscasset to eat lunch at Red's Eats - to see if it lives up to the legend! It was a long wait in line (an hour!) but worth it. Delicious lobster roll with GIANT hunks of lobster and lots of it. Delish. Back on the road for a quick ride up to Boothbay Harbor and checked in at Sur La Mer in...

September 3, 2009 - Kennebunkport, Maine, United States
We're off early to Boston, quick car rental, and headed to Kennebunkport. We did manage the traditional lunch stop at The Clam Box in Ipswich - serious yum! Stayed at the Kennebunkport Inn ... really nice little in right in town. Had a two part happy hour...beers at a small brewpub overlooking the boat docks, and drinks and snacks at the Inn. Did a fun dinner and watched football at the Hurricane...great spot! Nice crowd, excellent food.

There Are No Words
January 25, 2009 - Damariscotta, Maine, United States
Hello all, Well, it's finally here. It's finally happening, I am going to London tomorrow....well today! In less than 18 hours I will be on the plane and in 24 hours (holy shit) I will be in LONDON. There are no words to describe my emotions right now. I'm kind of everything, I'm excited, I'm nervous, happy, sad, anxious, nervous, and did I mention excited! I'm overwhelmed, it's the perfect word. I'm numb, I just can't believe that it's finally here. I've been saying it...

ONE WEEK!!! aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
January 18, 2009 - Damariscotta, Maine, United States
Okay, there's one week till I leave for London. I have NOT started to pack yet though one of my suit cases has been in my room for 2 weeks in a sad attempt to inspire me to start. Winter break drags on, I spend most of my time doing nothing, which is actually a lot. Meeting with friends, working out (yah me, it's my New Years Resolution), reading about London, working when I can at the Grill and watching season after season of Frasier. Today it is snowing like crazy in Maine and it's...
