Leaving Eugene, OR - Dec 2013
January 9, 2014 - Eugene, Oregon, United States
(The photos show in reverse order.) It has been a while since my last post.  On this trip we plan to go south to southern California, east to Texas, north to South Dakota, west to Washington and then to Oregon.  We should arrive there in August next year.  Hope to see and do many interesting things. We stayed in Eugene, OR for two months.  We took care of our annual physicals plus additional medical procedures.  :(  Most of one month we were cleaning up our house after the renters moved...

Winter Trip 2011 - 2012
June 1, 2012 - Eugene, Oregon, United States
Well...where to start?  The last time I posted we were in southern California.  Now we are in Salt Lake City, UT.  In the last five months we have had a lot of experiences.  There have been very scenic places, some wind storms, and lots of warm days. While we were in the LA area we also went to the LaBrae Tar Pits and the Hollywood Cemetery.  The LaBrae Tar Pits show that LA once had real wild life.  It was very impressive.  At the cemetery we recognized the names of many celebrities....

Day five
July 28, 2010 - Eugene, Oregon, United States
Thanks to Ron. We are planning a motor sport get away in the future. Did I say, "thanks Ron" I had a great time. OK, I made the trip today from Astoria down the coast to the Hebo cut off to HWY 22, missed the 99W exit so I took I-5 from Salem. It was good, I cranked the bike up a bit. The trip covered almost 1,000 miles and five days. Thanks for following. Until my next travel, see ya!!!!!   Is there a spell checker? I could not find one

Idaho & Oregon
June 7, 2010 - Eugene, Oregon, United States
Between Sunset, UT and Nampa, ID, we stayed overnight in Jerome, ID.  It is near Twin Falls so we drove over to "the falls".   Shoshone Falls is among the most spectacular of natural beauties along the Snake River.  At 212 feet, the falls are higher than Niagara Falls. While we were there we saw information about Balance Rock.  It didn't seem like it was very far so we would just drive by there on the way back to the coach.  It took longer than we expected and the sun set about the...

Isleton, CA
June 12, 2009 - Eugene, Oregon, United States
Okay!  So, I am a little behind.  Well...a lot behind.  Gotta get caught up. We drove from Manteca, CA to Isleton, CA, about a 50 mile drive.  It was windy and we wobbled some as we made our way.  The new park was next to a river with a levee keeping it on course.  It was kind of erie that a lot of water was higher than us, very close by.  We got to this park at the right time of the year.  A couple of weeks earlier it was muddy and hard not to get your RV stuck.  A few weeks later...
