Een geestige dag...

Vandaag zou het een koude dag worden volgens de weersvoorspellingen voor Charleston (Alaska), bij ons was het 's morgens al 23 graden. Na het ontbijt snel naar Charleston waar we in de ochtend een tour in het French Quarter hebben gedaan; prachtige huizen met een goed verhaal erbij, leuk om het mee te maken! Daarna koffie bij Starbucks (zalig, echte koffie na dat slootwater wat ze in hotels en restaurants schenken). Direct de Ghost Harbor Tour geboekt en verder genoten van het lopen langs...

Oostwaarts naar Charleston

De trip verliep ook té voorspoedig. Ondanks de files op de highway wisten we dankzij de navigatie van Peter's telefoon snel de I-20 oostwaarts te vinden en ging het rap richting Augusta. Bij een plaspauze op de parkeerplaats van een tankstation deed Michael wat rekoefeningen waarbij Nely hem robeerde te imiteren. Ze viel achterover tijdens een steps-oefening, probeerde haar val te breken maar brak ook haar pols op 2 plaatsen. Gevolg: naar het ziekenhuis in Augusta waar ze werd onderzocht...

Leaving! On a Jet Plane

Eric and I plan on keeping this blog while we live in Thailand. Although we haven't left yet, I thought I'd go ahead and start my first entry just to let everyone know our general game plan, and figure out how this website works. Please excuse the blanks -I need to insert some of the names but i am in maccas in times square using the wifi.
