We hit Texas late Saturday afternoon...at the Welcome Center, a sign was posted warning about rattlesnakes in high grass. Yipes, we avoided ANY grass after seeing that, but the welcome center was really nice with a great view. Stayed at the Fort Amarillo RV Resort...a good spot. Sadly, Lily's hula hoop got crunched when we put the slide out on...

We finally left about 5pm on Friday afternoon...first stop was dinner at the Cracker Barrel in Oxford, AL. A man at a table near us complimented Lily and Lee on their nice manners and good behavior at the table...all so true! Back on the road, L and L hit the bunk about 9pm, and Rusty motored on.
