Day Trip to Galveston, Texas

  We left Beaumont at about 9.00am & headed to Galveston. We hit the coast and Yoli was amazed at how the coastline had changed since hurricane Ike hit this area 2 years ago. The gulf waters were some 100 feet from the road where as BEFORE; sand dunes were between the road and the water. As we drove along High Island & Bolivar Peninsula we saw remnants of beach houses that once lined the coastal waters – in some cases there were just pylons left standing with no trace of the building...

SPRING BRAKE

I plan on going to Tennesse over my spring brake. But i will have to work. i only took off 3 days. and  its a 16 hour trip both ways.
