wild life centre

hey all,
havin a fab time really busy and very tiring, been playin with baby gibbon called dum dum which is amazing.Built her a mini assault course which she can swing around on but she prefers it wen u hold up a piece of wood for her to jump on and u swing her, how amazing, shes ridiculously cute. We rescued her from a market in bangkok, problem is she's cute now but gets fiestier with age so ppl cant handle her and also the sad part is that to have gotten her from the wild they wudv had to kill her entire family as they wud fight to the death to protect her.

Been feeding elephants today, they like pineapple plants and watermeolns best, its so much fun they roll up their trunks and u put it in the little nook at the bottom then they eat it. thers a baby one too who is adorable, watched them swimming in the lake today splashing around!!!!! Also fed the bears today, theres 20 of them in total and u have to hide their food in trees and hard to reach places so that they have to search for it. They love watermelon and coconut and lie on their backs with feet and hands in the air clawing away at it!!

kinda taking on the role of education officer here as touring tourists around etc and designing pamphlets and posters to educate locals and tourists that come here. Toursits help fund the cruelty with animals that are used to pose for pics, by buying animal souvenirs etc, also to educate thai so kno correct way to treat animals and that wild should'nt b kept as pets. bears, for example, are sold to medicine farms in china wer they have a cathater in the bears gall bladder and remove the bile all day, really cruel. all the animals here have a sad story, like crazy joe a macaque here was kept nailed in a box for 10 years, meow the tiger cant walk properly due to damage to his central nervous system due to malnurishment as a cub.

Work here is really sattisfying and having the best time,
Miss u all loads tho, but just have the most amazing time. im so glad i did it!!
