Welcome to my travel blog! I'll be updating my travels hopefully with some frequency... just to make sure everyone knows that I'm still alive... as in not dead.
The travel plans as of right now include volunteering for 8 weeks at a community center in San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica. Carolyn, my fearless travel partner, and I will also be taking some weekend/ day trips around the country... maybe even Panama? Who knows, the world is our oyster... even though oysters are ridiculously nasty... From there it's off to bussing through Central America. We're stopping at some major cities for a couple days each- Managua, Nicaragua - San Salvador, El Salvador - Tegucigalpa, Honduras - Guatemala City, Guatemala - Tapachula, Mexico.
