First Day in San Jose: coffee units 10 (muy fuerte- perfecto), new foreign acquaintances ~7 (excellent), near-death experiences crossing the road 2 (poor but will work on that tomorrow), bumpy bus rides 1 (good), traditional costa rican dinner 1 (tasty), carros peligrosos 50000 (terrifying so pedestrians beware), luggage delivered 2 (good), torrential afternoon downpour 1 (wet... and still going 5 hours later) Carolyn and I won’t start Spanish classes or work until Monday. So we're thinking of going here (Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica)
with these (Squirrel Monkies)...
or... going here (Montezuma, Costa Rica)...
with these (pretty waterfalls)...
Either way, it's a hard life we're living... are you jealous yet?

I'd send you a photo of Omaha, city of sparkling lights, but I don't want to make you homesick...lol. O and if you can only do one, definitely do the waterfalls! and good luck with the street crossing, just remember to look both ways.
