Hey guys! If you are looking for more pictures this isn't the entry for you! I am sorry. But if you look back at my last entry I posted some fun pictures. I only have two pictures to post this time around.
On with the entry...
I have done the show 48 times now! Crazy! One month down! The show is fine, life is fine, nothing too exciting. It's a job. It's work. It's a show! Ya know!?! I do my thing! I sleep, eat, work out, go to work, and pay the bills. I do go out...usually on the weekends. Mostly on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. As for tomorrow (my day off) our baseball game got rescheduled due to inclimate weather two weeks ago. So tomorrow night at 11pm it should be on weather permitting. Our cast (Jubilee!) will be playing against the cast of Celine Dion. It should make for a fun evening. I heard it is supposed to be windy tomorrow though, so we'll see!
The other day the cast and crew had a meeting to meet our new assistant stage manager. We all met up on stage before the show. If I only had a camera to take a picture of all the people on stage to show you how many people are involved in this show...It's crazy! Gosh, there had to be close to two hundred some bodies on that stage. Including techs, wardrobe, management, hair, dancers, singers, etc...I couldn't believe it! I really wish I had my camera. I think there are just as many people working offstage in my show as there are performers working on stage. And during the finale of our show there are 75 plus people on stage! It's a huge production. Again the sets are gigantic! We got 5 huge elevators on our stage. Elevators A, B, C and two revolve elevators on either side. People even come down over the audience from out of the ceiling numerous times throughout the production!
I went to Walmart the other day and bought all my groceries and some odds and ends. I only paid 65 bucks! That was awesome!
Sunglasses and Sun visor! Essential. I have NEVER EVER used those two things so much. I never wear sunglasses! Ever! Very rarely while driving. But here, YOU HAVE TO! The sun is so bright, and there is nothing hiding it! I look at every other car on the roads...they also have their visors down and their sunglasses on. Crazy! When I first got here my sunglasses broke...I went the next day to buy a pair. I don't know how I would drive without them.
The other day I went to the dentist and got a free cleaning through my insurance. However, it was not just a normal dentist office...it was a dental spa! Ha! I got my hands dipped in wax and they were wrapped in these towel things for the whole procedure, I got a warm neck wrap, and I got to pick out a movie to watch. It wasn't just a normal TV either. The movie played on these goggles that I wore...and I had little ear buds to put in my ear to hear the movie. The whole cleaning and everything took about an hour. Believe it or not, it sure was relaxing. The dentist, relaxing!?! As I was checking out, cavity free, they gave me two cookies to take home. They said that they make cookies for their patients! It was very cool. I wonder if they have dental spas in Youngstown Ohio? It was really cool though. Oh also, when I signed in they showed me to a fridge in the waiting room which was full of bottled water and on top was a coffee pot.
Well thats just about it. I don't have really much more to say. I just wanted to say that I have done 48 shows now. I have completed my first month of shows! Wahoo!
I hope everyone has a great October!
