Hey everybody,
I finally made it to the Netherlands! We flew into Amsterdam at 7am Thursday morning where Boudines parents were waiting for us with welcome home balloons. My body still felt like it was 1am but our day was only beginning. After breakfast we rode our bikes to downtown Pumerand and spent the afternoon walking around. Almost everyone travels by bike and if they are travelling outside the city they ride their bikes to the train or bus station. After lunch I took a nap and didn't wake up until dinner. After dinner we rode her brother's scooter to the track and did a little workout. I got to meet her coach and see where Boudine became a trackstar. On the way home she let me drive the scooter and I almost ran us into a pole. oooops.
