About me

I am a third year undergraduate studying abroad in Lima, Peru for the 2008 spring semester. I am a student of art history, anthropology and, of course, Spanish.

About my trip

I am currently enrolled in the Universidad Catolica del Peru through the University of Virginia in Peru study abroad program. There are ten of us American students total in the program, three from UVA and the rest from other universities. We are staying with host families during the semester and most people are housed with another student from the program with a "Spanish only" vow inside the house. I plan to travel outside of Lima during the semester to visit other areas of Peru. I also plan to participate in an archaeological dig with my anthropology advisor in southern Peru after the term ends on July 19th. I also would like to visit Chile before flying home August 19th, 2008.
