About us
Two happy-go-lucky, friendly and handsome (the picture doesn't even start to do us justice!) chaps preparing to enter the big bad world armed only with their outstanding private education - props to DJ! and a large sum of Euros! Travelling should be a valuable break for both of us before Joe (fingers crossed) starts a drama course at Bristol Old Vic and I go to Nottingham to study Law. I decided to start a blog in order to give me something to do whilst Joe chases after the many european beauties we expect to meet and worships the sun in his on-going quest to lose his green colouring!About our trip
Upon agreeing to buy an Interrail ticket and travel around Europe during the summer, we were faced with a major decision: whether to make an independent journey into the middle of Eastern Europe with its unpredictable weather (it's raining in Praque as I write this!), angry robbers/muggers/rapists and high-rise tower blocks, (the option that many of our friends chose,) or to re-visit the familiar but sunny landscapes of Western Europe with its beautiful women, amazing food and luxurious beaches, and the opportunity to spend two all expenses paid and luxurious weeks with our respective families. Obviously we chose the latter simply because of the opportunity to spend more time with our families! So, we decided to journey all the way from Bristol to Istanbul, then Greece, Corfu, Italy (with Joe's parents,) Spain (with Mike and the gang) and finally France (with my parents!) I'm sure it will be a blast, and good luck to everyone else travelling around Europe, especially Lilly and Lucy as We've heard Eastern Europeans like to sacrifice young blonde girls to their pagan Gods - what fun.
