Ok, I don't want any of you to think that I am not enjoying myself. Because I absolutely, positively am. What I wanted to convey in the previous journal entry is that life here is a LOT different than life in the states or even the Caribbean. That is it. I'm still getting used to it, but now that I know the jist of how things go here, I'm learning to love it and take everything in as it is, and appreciate the world and the history that lives here. Also, the shopping is kind of amazing. And the 3 Euro wine. also amazing. Anyhow, I know now how to fold towels into animals, thanks to my stateroom attendant. She's so cute. Elizabeth, her name is Naisha. I haven't conjured up the courage to do the dance for her yet. Soon...soon. I hope your birthday was great. PS everyone. Naples is amazing. I went for the first time today. It's like the New York City of Italy. Anyhow, I hope you're all well, and let's chat it up soon.

- missing convenience but loving fresh experience

Glad you are getting into European life. Most countries aren't as uptight as the U.S. with all of the Walmarts, Kmarts, Targets, etc. etc. We have become so spoiled having to do all shopping in one place. They are more laid back in Europe when it comes to stuff like that. Driving... well that is a different story.
Glad you are enjoying yourself. No new pictures????
Love,
Dad
