YAYAYAYAYAY!

So this week was really fun! I had about three days off completely, and one of them was in Cozumel, Mexico, which is just a beautiful place to have a day off. Anyhow, funny story of the week: We got a new drummer (who quit already, but that's beside the point), and he's never really played to a click track before. So every cruise, we do a welcome aboard show which is about 3 minutes long, and it's the cheesiest song on the face of the planet already...so you can imagine what would happen if it all went to hell. So he heard the click but counted wrong and started the beat about four counts later than the track. And there are background vocals and other instruments on the track, but the ACTUAL band goes by the drummer. So the first thing that the audience saw us do was a TRAVESTY! We didn't know when to sing at ALL, and the other singers stopped singing, but i saw their mouths moving, so i pushed on ahead and belted it out...so it was like the Ryan Balch Welcome Aboard solo completely off from the music. Oops. Oh well... The other shows were great. People are very appreciative, almost too much so. I was on the eliptical yesterday, and this woman comes up and starts telling me how she expects to see me on Broadway, and this and that and talking my ear off, and i'm like, as sweet as that is lady, I'm kinda sweating and it's really quite a chore to talk to you right now. The point of the story is that people on cruise ships are crazy and will track you down and stalk you. Anyhow, i have LOTS of pictures to post...so basically things are going well, and my dad and stepmom come in two weeks!!! yayayayay! And the Rouillards come in one! I'm excited to finally have people! You all are wonderful and hope this wasn't too shitfaced of an entry, i'm holding out for starbucks coffee because the coffee at this place is like dirty water. bye
