We had an amazing surprise in Carlsbad Caverns. I have always wanted to visit the caves, and since we were on our way to Phoenix and so we thought we would stop by and take a look. (By the way, the steering collumn locked on the jeep on the way to Carlsbad and we dragged it sidwase down the road behind the motor home. Needless to say, we had to buy new tires.)
Inside the caverns, to our surprise, we found a small amphitheatre carved into the flooring. Since the caverns were made available to the public with WPA funds, we can count this theatre as a WPA project.
