This particular tour of Berlin was a bit more successful than the first time. I've been really spoiled by the nice, big Canon Erich and I bought for this trip, so it was a little hard to take pictures with my small camera when I first came here. This time, I got some really great shots.
The first stop on our tour took us to a museum housing the original Checkpoint Charlie guardhouse and "Leaving the American sector" sign. Then we continued to Checkpoint Charlie itself - where I finally got a decent picture - and then on to the same modernized stretch of the Berlin Wall we saw on our last trip here. I was a little bummed that I didn't get a picture in front of the original Berlin Wall with its original graffiti, but that's life! Just a reason to come back I suppose.
We stopped for more good pictures in front of Brandenburg Gate, the Parliament House, and Charlottenburg Palace. I also got to take some artistic shots of cool buildings and architecture around town, including the Holocaust Memorial.
