Oz part 3 - Brisbane and Australia Day

We got to Brisbane on the 19th of Jan where Tom and Bev kindly took us in for the week. They took great care of us and we spent most of the week just relaxing and enjoying the fact that we didnt have anything to do or anywhere to go.

On the 20th I went to my friend Vinay's wedding, it was spectacular. Indians realy put in the effort to have a good celebration. The ceremony was great, though quite lengthy. (I had to steal one of the programmes so that i could read up after about what every part of the ceremony meant). The food was great as was the atmosphere, Indians can really dance, and once they bop they just cant stop.

The 26th was Australia day and to celebrate it Tom threw a coctail party and we spent the day sipping cocktails, swiming in the pool, playing on the pol table and generally living the high life, it was an awesome party and a great way for me to say godbye to my friends and to Brisbane.

Special thanks to Tom and Bev, we really appreciated how you took care of us that week, it made for a memorable goodbye.
