Grand Canyon....AMAZING!!!

OH MY GOD!!! Talk about breathtaking! We had a 30 minute helicopter ride over the grand canyon. Ive never seen anything like it! It really was worth every penny! I would have loved to go down to the bottom, but there would be no way in hell that I would have made it back up again! Haha. 1.6km down….yeh no!!! You would spend a day getting down there alone! I don’t know how the rest of the trip is going to compare to these first few days, we’ve seemed to cram so much in and its all been so amazing. It feels like we have been here for ages and its only been a week! Its just crazy how time is going by so slowly, I love it! So today was a little bit of a lazy day after that. We had a free day to rome around the Grand Canyon, so Ursh went for a trek but im still getting over a cold so I decided to avoid anything to strenuous. I just headed into town to find a post office so I could send home some of the shot glasses and trinkets I’ve bought, cause I can fit absolutely nothing in my tiny little backpack, depressing! So today was an uneventful day. We tried to check out the sunset and Hopi Point but it was totally overcast so unfortunately we didn’t even see the sun. So we all headed back for an early night. It was good to have a lazy day though. We needed a bit of a rest I think. Vegas took a lot out of me! So onwards we go, another day on the road to Cortez! Ciao!!
