New Orleans Continued

So today we had a free day to rome around New Orleans?which actually turned out to be not that exciting. new orleansI headed into the French quarter with one of the girls from the tour, cause Ursh and the Melbourne girls were still in bed?tsk tsk! It was sooooo hot and muggy! I only made it out for a few hours cause it actually started raining. new orleans 1But I managed to get in a little shopping, had some beignets at Cafe Du Monde (don?t I sound fancy) and wandered around the town a little. It was actually really cute. I scored a pair of $13 shoes, so I was happy for the day. new orleans 2The girls headed out for a swamp tour and dinner at Bubba Gumps but I wasn?t really interested in doing either of those so I chilled out at the hotel and then headed out for dinner with a friend?.mmmm bbq chicken and veggies?.oh how I have missed my veggies!!! Will someone please send me some peas and corn, pumpkin, mashed potatoes and broccoli!!! PLEASE!!! Oh?and some tim tams! =)new orleans 3
