So this is the last day with the gang (boo hoo)! On to
New York we go! We had a quick stop in
Annapolis before heading on the
Philadelphia.
There wasn’t much to see there, it was just a little town right on the water, cute, but uneventful. My second attempt at going on a tour of Independence Hall in Philadelphia turned to crap yet again. Last time mum and I were in America we didn’t have enough time that day to visit it, so I thought cool…the one thing I didn’t get to see last time I can check out this time. But of course me be as unlucky as I always am, all the tickets for the day were gone….GRRRR! So I spent my entire arvo in philly sitting in the food court talking to Sacha (one of the contiki guys from England) Id already seen the liberty bell so I couldn’t be bothered going back there again….it was pretty boring the first time round! Was better talking to Sacha anyway….now we have someone to hang out with in
London! And we have a couple that live in
Manchester who said we could stay with them! SWEET! Free tour guides! I forgot to mension we did the run up the steps from the movie Rocky....dont we look cool!
