We have the air conditioner from hell. It seriously sounds like we have a freaken jet engine going off in out room!! So with a combined total of about 5 hours sleep in 3 nights im at that feeling like crap point, so I stayed in bed till about 10 since I don’t really have much planned anyway. At 3 Ursh and I booked a NY movie and TV show tour, which was basically just a bus tour that took us to different locations which was ok…..but not as good as what I had hoped.
We spent a bit of time at the Cosby’s show front door, which I don’t watch so it didn’t really interest me.
But we did get to see the fountain from the intro of friends and the apartment block, which is SOOOOO much smaller then what I expected!
We saw the soup kitchen from seinfield, which wasn’t open at the time…..but the tour guy said it was just like the show, you have to have the right money and know what you want before you get to the counter all they will kick you out!
Haha! We also went into this places called Rice to Riches which they have filmed a few things in, such as Hitch, and we thought what the hell…we will give it a go. Ok EWWW! We had this rice pudding called Sex Drugs and Rocky Road…..SOOOO sickly!!
We barely ate any of it! We will let the celebs stick to that one I think! Yuk! Along the way we saw some advertisements being filmed and we think a movie, we couldn’t get up close….but it was funny to see all the camera crews around and stuff. The traffic was pretty bad (as expected in
new york city) so we jumped off the bus a little early so we could get to our baseball game…Yankees and White Sox!!
The atmosphere was incredible!!!! The stadium was huge and there were so many people!!!! Our seats were right up the top, but we could see just fine!
We had a couple of die hard yankee fan boys sitting next to us who asked me if I was from England. I swear to god if one more person asks me that they are going to get a slap in the face!!! Do I sound like im from England at all!!! Grrrr. The good news is the yankee’s won, but we didn’t stay till the very end cause we were on the other side of manhatten so we knew it would take us ages to get home! So we snuck out a bit early and headed out for some new
york pizza before calling it a night! Turned out to be a good day!
