Ok so since
Montreal was a complete disaster we headed on the
Quebec…hoping to get something good out of
Canada besides Niagra Falls. We paid a fortune for the damn car….we wanted to see something! So I remember Kat and Jen saying that they were glad they missed a concert to go to Quebec, so I was hoping something good was going to come out of it. And well….finally a place I liked. It was really cute, the city was beautiful and it happened to be a long weekend while we were there.

The had a festival going on - Make New Friends, or something like that….so the streets were absolutely chock a block! It was like being at the big day out or something. There were all these people in old school costumes and lots of weird stuff going on.

They had these two random guys that were sword fighting and all these stalls and stuff going on….Ursh and I just looked at each other and though ‘Is this what its like every weekend’ haha. In the end we found out it was a festival but yeh….we were like WHAT THE!! There was a parade of some sort going on and roads blocked off everywhere so it was fun to see. We went down this elevator thing that takes you to the bottom of the cliff to more shops and things which was weird….Getting in an elevator to take you down a cliff…STRANGE!

It was really interesting walking around at least. So I didn’t think it was a complete waste of time coming here. The whole French speaking thing got old quickly though. All the story tellers and sword fighting dudes were carrying on in French…so we had no idea what they were going on about. I think the only French word I now know is Sortie - which is EXIT…because of the 50 million exits we actually missed along the way! It was fun going to an Italian restaurant that night trying to order food of a French menu!! Not cool. We ended up getting chicken Parmigiana…just because that was the only word I recognized on the whole menu! Haha Big mistake that was to…it was totally over cooked! Yuk….nothing beats good old Nicholsons….mmmm YUM YUM YUM….I want chicken parmigiana!
