Ok so I wouldn’t be me unless I got sick on a holiday right….yes….yet again I have ended up with the flu again!! Lucky me! So we arrive in the French Riveria…and what did I do…stayed home at watched chick flicks and colored my hair….woohoo! Yes, a it a a disappointing day but I though I better rest up early otherwise I would be stick with it for a while. It was kinda a good day to relax as well cause everyone just spent the day at the beach and shopping (which I totally cannot afford to do anyway) so it didn’t really bother me.
The evening was a little better than the day time tough…we cruised into
Monaco and
Monte Carlo for a few happy snaps and some gambling!! That’s right…off to the casino we went! I was excited cause I had heard from my dad about the casino’s there so I thought it would be a good night out. We had a really quick walking tour where we had the most amazing views…the photo’s really don’t do it justice.
Even the drive to Monaco was incredible, we were driving along the coastline which was so pretty! And my lord were we in RICHVILLE! I couldn’t believe the boats….I shouldn’t say boats…they were all practically cruise ships. I want one! They were all just incredible.
Our tour manager was just hilarious…she told us to go find a hot guy in Monte Carlo, go home with him…and then drive his Ferrari back to the camp site! Haha we all had a good giggle out of it. So we drooled over all the hot cars and the massive boats and headed to the cas….where I was more than just a little disappointed! There were 3 different casino’s…2 of which were free to get into and one was 10 euro…so you can imagine which 2 Ursh and I went into….yes…we are elcheapo! But my lord were they crappy! There was a while of one roulette table, one blackjack table and the buy in prices were crappy! I can honestly say burswood cas was better than these 2! I was disappointed! So we tried 20 euro on the roulette table, which turned out crap, so we wasted another 10 euro on the pokies without winning once…also disappointing. And then we came across the rapid roulette…which turns out to be a little bit more confusing to use than the ones back home. I put in 10 euro, and thought I was betting 50 cent bets on the numbers….turns out I had it on 2.50 bets so I accidentally put $7.50 of the credits down all at once…..dammit I thought! Well…turns out my number came up…woohoo. Talk about lucky! So I won back my 40 euro I lost…good good…and then bought an icecream to soothe the lovely sore throat I was blessed with today and then we headed back to the campsite. We only had about an hour and a half at the cas cause it was almost and hour and a half drive away…but it was a good experience to go! I’ve decided not to marry the prince of England….I wanna marry someone with a big boat in monte carlo….who also owns a Lamborghini!!!!
