Mozart!!

September 9, 2007 - Vienna, Austria

Ahh Vienna! Home of Mozart and Strauss! Ive been looking forward to arriving here, im a secret classical lover! Mozart is my chill out music! It was a long day on the road (surprise surprise) and by the time we got to the hotel we didn’t really have a lot of time before the bus left for the city to grab dinner and by this point we were getting desperate to do washing so a few of us ended up catching a cab into the city a little later on so grab some dinner and head off to the concert!! Woohoo! Its quite sad how much of my money is spent on washing!!! Grrr! It turned out to be about a 20 minute walk from where we all had dinner…in what felt like 1 degree weather! I cant get over how cold it is! Its supposed to be autumn not winter! Ursh and I at the Mozart concertAnyway, we finally arrived at the concert, which was surrounded by what looked like the whole retirement village, so us 18-29 years olds stuck out like a sore thumb! Mozart ConcertIt was so good though, well worth the freezing walk! Ursh and I both loved it! They had some people that did some dancing and some opera with the lovely mozart and strauss music, so it was a good show. Im not really an opera fan, but ursh enjoyed it!Champers at the Mozart concert We headed back to the hostel and I went to see Matt, Steven and Sacha about something…but when I knocked on their door, it was dark and quiet…and they whispered for me to come in quietly…so I was like what the hell is going on??? The sneaky little buggers were watching this couple through the window on the floor below us looking like they were getting ready to go for it! haha! Perverts yes, but it was pretty funny. They should learn to close the curtains! haha! It was all good though, no clothes came off, so yes the boys were a little disappointed, but before they left their room there managed to me me, matt, john, sasha, marina and steven all huddled round the window having a giggle and throwing stuff at their window trying to get their attention (yet failing miserably….I should have had a go…the boys cant aim)! So that was my giggle for the night!
