Today we had a surprise stop at Mathausen concentration camp, which was interesting and depressing all at the same time. It was weird to see such a horrible place in such a beautiful part of the world. It was at the top of a hill that overlooked the most beautiful town! It was so cold up there, I cant imagine what it was like in winter for all those poor people!
Over 130,000 people were killed there….Over 78,000 in the year 1944 alone! It was chilling. It was a very silent walk through there. We watched a video about the whole place, when it built, how they bought people there, how the lived , how they were treated, the fact they only had 5 spoons of food every 3 days and how they slaughtered. It really was disturbing. I don’t want to go into to much detail, because it was really awful and you know what they used to do back then, but it really was interesting.
It’s a part of history people shouldn’t forget about. All those lives lost for pointless reasons. Just horrible! We continued onwards to stop in a little town where the church from the sound of music was….im not into that movie so it didn’t interest me…so our little gang hoed into some Chinese food for lunch….mmm chicken and corn soup!! It was pouring down with rain so it was eat and stay warm or run to the church and get saturated…..WARM IT WAS! We jumped back on the bus and headed to Hopfgarten which is where our
hostel was. Turns out there was going to be a cross dressing party at the pub in the hostel….so its going to be an interesting night.
Turns out a few of the boys make pretty hot ladies! Hehe. We dressed mattie up in full drag….make up and everything…he looked sooooo funny! He loved it! John and Sasha also made very pretty ladies….they had make up, just not to the extent of mattie….he has a cross dressing friend back home he wanted to show up I think! Haha.
Turned out to be a funny night. Ursh decided she was to be a girl dressed as a boy dressed as a girl….yes…a weird transvestite thingo haha. I had my 3 quarter jean thingos so I went as a boy….not a very attractive one at that!
And my god…all I wanted to do is pull up my pants!!! I tried doing the whole bagging pants half way down my but with boxers hanging out but it was soooo uncomfortable. I couldn’t end the night without being a man….I did a pose in the toilets…..gotta love it!
