PARAGLIDING!!!!

Ok so today turned out to be the best and worst day of my life! For some obscure reason, Ursh and I decided to say yes to the bike tour in Austria. BIG MISTAKE! Turns out it was going to be a 25km bike ride up through the town and up the mountain a little….so basically OUCH! My ass was killing me after the first 5 minutes…so you can imagine how I felt 3 FREAKEN HOURS later!!! Ursh made it 4km and then her knees were killing her so she went for a 20 minute walk up to the restaurant to wait for us…but stupid me thought id keep going….why oh why I don’t know! It started off ok, on the nice flat road, and then it got a little hillier, and then it turned to gravel, and then it turned to MUD! Yes mud…so I ended up having to push my bike for about a 1km! It was so mushy! So by the time we made it to the restaurant, it hurt to sit down ( and still does the next day) but I was just grateful it was over! haha! Im so unfit after sitting on a bus for over 2 months! Ive had no netball, no gym…nothing! Just sitting on a bus eating munchies all day! haha. So it kinda felt good to get some decent exercise….but mummy….my bum hurts!!! HEHE! So the ride back to the hostel after lunch was awesome….DOWNHILL BABY!!! wooohoo! It was pretty much downhill the whole way so it was a nice cruise back! The whole bike ride was worth it though, the scenery was absolutely beautiful! I think this countryside beats anything ive seen so far. It was green as green can be….EVERYWHERE! And it’s a little early in the year, but its rained so heavy last week that the mountains were snow capped! They were so pretty! It just reminded me of the drive nikki and I had to Queenstown, all the pretty snowcapped mountains!! I loved it! Then….the best part of the trip happened…..PARAGLIDING! And there isn’t a better place in the world to do it! We caught the sky rail up the mountain with our little packs and crazy instructors! My guy told me basically all I had to do was run run run. So I was like ok, I can handle that….and then the other instructor in the cable car with us said if I didn’t, I would go head first into the ground, and my instructor would fall on top of me…and then nine months later…..hahaha! Dags! They were a good laugh! So we get up the top, he prepares everything, straps me in….and off we go…..RUN RUN RUN! This was the best experience of my life! Even beats scuba diving in the great barrier reef! It was absolutely freezing up there, but my lord was it fun!!! We glided around for a few minutes, and then it was time for the ‘Rollercoaster’ as they call it. They spin you round and round and round! Left and right up and down! SOOOOOO much fun! Ursh went before me, and I didn’t get to hear, but the girl that went before her told us she could hear ursh screaming the whole time the guy was doing the rollercoaster bit…..damn I wish I was there to hear it…you know I love hearing her scream! hehe! We both loved it, and I cant wait to do it again someday! Well worth the money! I was freaking out the day before cause it was pouring with rain and there wasn’t one patch of blue sky so I was worried they were going to cancel it….turns out someone is on our side!!! YAY! THE BEST DAY!!!
