Hi Evevtbody,
Patsy normally writes the blog, but she dipped out this time cos its about boats and even writting about them makes her sick.
We travelled up to Mangalore where we had been on our previous trip to investigate how far they had got with the huge wooden boat they were building. Good thinking allowed us to up load pictures on the blog from last year and print them off.
We travelled by tuk tuk tp Ullal and made our way to the 'boat yard'. And there she was almost finished and all made from wood carved and cut by hand... unbelievable. I reached the security position and asked to see the skipper but was only told it was private property until ( of course) i produced the magic printed photos.
These Photos were whipped away and moments later the 'Skipper' appeared and welcomed me on board ( which meant climbing a pretty wide runged wooden ladder) The ship will be launched at the end of May and i am trying to blagg a voyage with her.
I have taken loads of shots and will place them all on later but i have given you a sample. I felt privileged to board the ship and i have promised the ' skipper' i will send him all the photo's films etc.... ps secretly I dont think he was the skipper ( but what the hell) I will get to the bottom of it. Enjoy the pics.... Patsy send her regards from dry land
PnP

Have a good time. Colin says we still have not received all your postcards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
