9th Day

April 19, 2008 - Delhi, India

Had a busy day at the centre yesterday! We had a thrilling time in the pharmacy transferring folic acid from one bottle to another (thank god we didn't choose pharmacy as a career!). Then we helped in the nursery school with a party and helped to control the kids/stop them escaping... In the afternoon all 5 of us took the english class. We started to get scared as we walked upstairs to the sound of millions of chatting teenagers in the classroom. Ok, so there was actually only about 30 of them but still it was a little daunting! Afterwards, we helped in the homework class, reading english with the kids.

Then us 4 girls spent 3 1/2 hours in a beaty salon- Jo had to wait 3 hours for her manicure!

Went to 3 markets today. P saw her auntie and uncle. A new girl arrived this morning at our homestay to replace the 2 girls that are leaving tomorrow so we bought them cake for tea which was yummy. Night night xx
