It's May already!

May 1, 2008 - Delhi, India

On Wednesday Pragya worked in the school while Jo went on the medical bus with Abbie. Pragya was v worn out after school (lots of crying kids who never sit still!) and Jo was very hot, but that;s nothing unusual.

Guess what... we went to cafe turtle for lunch (that's the 'fave cafe' we were talking about) again. Salads and chocolate all round! Jo bought a chill out cd from the cafe shop (pragya has already bought about 7 from here and did very well to restrain herself yesterday). Then all 5 of us (Jo, Pragya, Amrit, Abbie and Richard - all the girls are staying together) did homework club.

As always, Wednesday night was 'ladies night' (ie free drinks for us girls) however we were disappointed to find out that all we were entitled to last night was one shot and we are doubtful that there was actually any alcohol in it anyway! Got home at 12am - you may think this is not exactly a late night, but our curfew is 11pm (rock on)...

We both worked in the pharmacy this morning then observed in the lab. Pragya went off to the nursery til lunch (worn out again) while Jo went to X-ray (lots of standing behind a lead screen). ANOTHER leisurely lunch (could get very used to this) but surprisingly not in cafe turtle for once. We managed to stay there for 2 hours as we were putting off going to homework club as it can be a *little* boring at times. Pragya, Jo and Abbie went to Dilli Haat (a nice market) before tea. Pragya bought some flip flops for Rs230 (3 pounds ish) and Jo bought some shoes and a shawl for Rs500 (6.50 pounds ish) so quite a successful shopping trip.

Night night xx

PS happy bday Alice, hope you enjoy your party!! Jo xxx
