Not much to write about here...
Toronto, just another city with lots of skyscrapers and lots of people. We are getting a little fed up of citys we think.
The hostel 'Toronto Village Backpackers' boasting the most beds in Toronto, air conditioning, free breakfast, an onsite bar and a washroom on every floor sounded good and we were looking forward to spending two nights here! Couldn't be any different! we got to our room.. it stank of Cat Pee! obviously being in a city it was very noisy and with the 'onsite bar' and our room being just above it! the combination wasnt too great for sleeping! at one stage during the night Andrew tryed to close our very Ill fitting window (1 inch gap, between the window sill and the window) the next minute the window has actually fallen out of its hole and Andy has it in his hand! great! no window, decided I needed the toilet at about 3am so have to get fully dressed and walk down the corridor.. No.... a queue for the One toilet on the whole floor!!!! YEP as per their advert 'washroom on every floor' Errrr one toilet & one shower for approx 80 people.
Ok, woke the next morning after about 2 hours sleep! downstairs was raving all night, we went downstairs to take our free all you can eat pancakes... lordy lord the black lady with attitude was guarding the breakfast table, no eye contact or speech and she wasnt giving out any without a fight!
We were on the greyhound by 10.45am on our way to Niagara Falls!
We decided to get out of here after one night to go to London, Ontario to see what was going on there.
No pictures of Toronto i'm afraid... you're not missing anything trust us!
