A word of thanks....

June 6, 2012 - Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States

I've got to take a moment to reflect and give thanks to all of you who have responded so warmly to me.  I'm humbled and moved, and deeply greatful for all your well wishes, your support, your sharing of your similar stories with me, your encouragement, your love and care.  It's priceless to me...thanks so much.

I'm reminded of a proverb that I've found so true through the years...."wherever you stumble, there is your treasure."  What a profound reframe...that there is something of value in the midst of what feels like our dark night of the soul.  I'm learning day by day out here...the value of living one day at a time...not being so caught up in past and future....experiencing the moment.  Some days are surely easier than others.  But I want all of you to know....that your support and encouragement and following means the world to me...it's made a difference already to my journey.

I'd like to also thank the friends....you know who you are....that have encouraged me to post my blog on facebook....my god...what an incredible thing.  I feel like in one moment I'm in Jr. High School, the next in High School, the next in College, the next in Grad School.....wow!!  I've even reconnected with my next door neighbor when I was in grammer school!!!!  She was older than me...and I had a crush on her....I told her so...she called me silly!!!  LOL  What fun!

Glad you're my friends, my family....thank you....

I have stumbled across your posts from time to time en route to my own travel blog on fuzzy travel. I read about the bank issues this morning and just wanted to encourage you to check out the site below. I'm not sure whether or not it would be a help to you but it's worth a look around. Also, you may try seeking some advocacy from your elected officials (state senator's office is where I would start). Again, perhaps futile but every once in a while, the little guy wins. Good luck!
