Wow I really couldnt think of an interesting title to this entry 
Havent done an update for a while now.. been pretty busy with life being pretty normal. Jarred and I have both been sick this past week and I am still recovering from the cough and sniffles. Bit frustrating as I was totally starting my gym routine last week!! Haha.. Other than that all is good..
Last weekend we had a lovely weekend exploring a bit of the Surrey countryside, really beautiful! Stunning little houses in the middle of nowhere as you'll see by the pics. Stopped in a random little village for breakfast at a Cafe where it seems that all the regular locals go as 1 person even took his dishes to the kitchen! Saturday night we went out to a fabulous restaurant in Clapham for Rosi's brithday.. Sunday very relaxed (needed a weekend like this!) and we had to make a trip to the 24hr ASDA (like a hypermarket) for some supplies. Much easier with a car oh my goodness..
Remember what it was like when we got cellphones and thought "what on earth did we do without these" - this car is much the same. My new dislike for public transport was brought on by the fact that I took the wrong bus home the other day (I was 10 min from home.. and it had been a rather long day) and ended up pretty much where I started and had to start my 45 min journey all over again. I cant say I was pleased and felt like a bit of a fool!
Half of this weekend I spent relaxing/recovering from the flu unfortuantely.. Jarred hit the golf course with some friends on Saturday and we all had dinner together at my friend Lindsey and Chris's place (Jarred played golf with Chris). They treated us to a seriously good 3 course meal which was fabulous! Sunday was church and then a braai (yes a real south african braai with boerewors!) at Vanessas house.. even though it was pretty darn freezing we all sat outside and was great to smell the braai again! Home comforts
Work is going fine - although Jarred is still very hectic!! I've been busy at the conference company and will be here part time probably till we go to Turkey which is nice. I start at The Starfish Foundation this Thursday... Jarred and I are trying to book a trip away this weekend as it is sort of our first opportunity to go away. Need to brush up on our deal searching skills though! Looking at some farm B&B's just outside Oxford as we'd love to have some time in the countryside! Really looking forward to it
Will put up some pics tonight, although haven't taken a significant amount since the last entry! Its starting to warm up a little here, low double digits in the day sometimes now! Although when the wind blows, the "feels like" temperature literally halves! Jealous of all of you just LOVING your SA summer.... Jhb winter is going to be such a snitch when we get back!
