Hope you all enjoy our blog of our adventures in Kerala in the South of India. We will be travelling from mid December 2007, coming home again mid January 2008. At the minute we are making last minute plans with a slight air of panic as Opodo have informed us that Gulf Air have changed our flight plans. At this moment we are not absolutely sure exactly when we are flying or returning. We have had to return our tickets to Opodo to be sorted. They have assured us that this will be done by the middle of next week. So, here's hoping! At least all our accomodation is sorted out so we won't be sleeping under the stars. We just need to try to make sense of the Indian train timetable now as we want to take the train from Varkala to Cochin(Kochi) for that part of our travels.
We begin our adventure in Kerala by a 3 day stay in Varkala, moving on to Fort Cochin for Christmas. I have just looked at the next 7 days weather forecast for Trivandrum and Varkala and it is a temperature of 30c! Just another 17 days until we can leave the rain and cold of this miserable December day in Belfast behind and jet off to India.
Lots of packing and planning to do before that.
