Dubai Camp it up

Have a wander around the shops and look for a park.. Which we cant find! Then get picked up to start our Overnight Desert Safari
There are 2 Japanese girls in our 4*4.. With perfect make up/hair/clothes.. I'm slightly conscious of the red, sweaty, fat… look like I've just been dragged backwards through a hedge after 3 weeks in the wilderness thang that I have going on!
Anyway, they were hilarious.. Screaming in horror during the start of crazy the 4*4 Dune Bashing.. And then had fallen asleep by the end!
See the Bedouin, a camel farm (Mike wont get too close to the camels!) and then arrive at camp.
Try out some sheeska pipe; dune surfing, belly dancing and camel riding.. Which was as funny as I remembered when they're running.
Over dinner Femcare and I come to realise that out of our group of 30... We are actually the only 2 who are staying and "camping out for the night"...
The sun goes down.. Everyone buggers off and we are taken to a tent in the middle of the desert.. Where the guide leaves us and says he'll see us at sun up… Dreamy!
Play cards in the dark for several hours.. Then make myself comfortable on the freezing, hard ground… Don’t sleep THAT well!
Woken up to some scrambled egg and bread rolls. Take a trip out towards the centre of the desert.. Where the sand gets redder and redder because the amount of copper.
Then head back and he drops us a one of the big malls in "new Dubai"
Find a "Chillis" for lunch.. A massive bug crawls out of my burger and I suddenly lose my appetite.
Take a 'lovely' walk back along their main highway, with cars zooming past and beeping horns as I'm wearing shorts (they obviously go for the red, sweaty, fat, dragged backwards through a hedge after 3 weeks in the wilderness look)
See filming of an Arab film.. Hundreds of local men ignoring the gorgeous leading lady and following around the leading man asking for photos and autographs. Take a boat tour.
Limo to the airport.. And pass the time with a McArab Burger…
