Turns out Mark's main company ("I set up a pay per view service') is actually a PORN CHANNEL!!
There were quotes all over his site saying "I grew up in a liberal household".... Liberal household? So, if we go and stay, we will be staying in a 'liberal household'???!!! (Laura, I think he is an even bigger nutter than Ramone)>
So much for his wholesome American image!
We are safe and sound in New York by the way. Although it nearly didn't work out quite so well...
We dragged ourselves out of bed at 4a.m. on Sunday and ran for the bus. Got on, trundled along quite sleepily for half an hour and got off at the last stop. All very good. Until we realised that we had got on the bus in the wrong direction.......
An hour and a half later, when we still weren't at the airport, we began to panic...
We did eventually make it though, and the flight was okay.
You think that we would have learnt from our adventures on the London buses but we then managed to get on the wrong subway. not once, but twice...
When we finally arrived at the hostel (which is incredibly grotty and very noisy) we fell asleep.
Today we have been shopping
and found a Toys R Us on TImes Square that has a Big Wheel with loads of cool characters. You had to pay for a photo with Geoffrey (hellllllllloooooo I used to work for the slave driver. where are my privileges?) but we turned secret photographers and sneaked in a few pics! Rachel is currently considering a career change to unauthorised paparazzi .Love the comments, keep em coming,
