We have had a great week in Buenos Aires, although it did end on a bad note, with a big dispute with the bank, but all has been sorted for the mean time...
We arrived to beautiful weather in BA and checked in to a great hostel, that was a tad over our price range, but it had an offer on (due to swine flu) for a free night, so we stayed there for a 3 nights. We fell in love with the city immediately, its fantastic, all the different areas have a really different atmosphere and different things to do. The nightlife and shopping is amazing, when im a millionaire, or maybe just when i have a job, i´ll definately be coming back.
We experienced the famous nightlife, the famous steak and the famous tango. After a few nights in the amazing hostel, we had to move to another hostel and back to a dorm again, 12 beds in a room and all bunk beds, but met some great people there. We had a big dispute with the bank 3 days ago, but luckily, at the same time, the gorgeous weather turned to cold rainy days, so we didnt mind staying in the hostels watching DVDs until things got sorted out.
Today we are catching a 17 hour bus to Foz do Iguazu, waterfalls on the Iguazu river, one of the "natural" 7 wonders of the world. We will stay a night or two there and then, on to Rio, our final destination of the trip!
