We arrived at Foz do Iguacu, on the argentina/brazil boarder, early on the morning of the 20th, it is a beautiful lttile town, really hot, tropical weather really, we checked into an amazing hostel that used to be a casino, so cheap with a massive pool, so we spent the day relaxing by the pool, with me getting burnt.
We got up early the next day to get a bus to the falls, you pay to get into a national park where you are free to walk around the jungle and to all the falls. It was absolutley incredible, the park was beautiful and the falls were unbeleivable! They were huge! we have never seen anything like it, we will have the pics and some videos up soon. We spent hours in the park walking around, we didnt want to leave! But eventually headed back to the hostel.
The next day we boarded a 23 hour bus for Rio, that had no food provided! We got to Rio mid day on the 23rd, and it has been pouring with rain ever since! but they expect to have sun in the next few days. In our last few days we are hoping to explore rio and its favellas (slums), then get a boat to Ilha Grande (big island) for a few days. Will keep you posted
Till next time
