Enough boring stories about the work I do, because as you know me that's of course only a very little part of my life. Last month a couple of Australian mates and I went on a camping trip to Wilson's Prom in the South East of Victoria and spent a really cool time down there. Knowing my Australian friends I thought our plans were never to become reality (coordinating 5 people's life and organize a 3 day camping trip seems almost impossible, but we managed and I absolutely loved the Prom (that's what they refer to it). If I had more time I definetely would love to go back and do some more hikes, but what we have seen was amazing too. We went to this beach called squeaky beach and name is program - when you walked around in the sand it would make a really strange squeaking noise. Wonder where Whisky beach got it's name from?! Oh and have I mentioned that my Aussie friends have declared me an honorable Australian, pretty damn cool, ey?!
Apart from that the past two months in Melbourne have been fantastic too! Summer has started and everybody is in the streets enjoying life in the sun. The only bad side effect of the heat (42° degrees on some days!, sorry to all of you who have a cold winter) and dryness is that there's heaps of bushfires in the countryside now and you even notice the dust and smog in the city. Crazy!
Two weeks ago, my friend Emma also came to visit from Perth for a way-too-short-weekend and I showed here around the city. I love having visitors, because you do sightsseeing with them you would never do alone and just cruise around having lunch here, coffee there and above all an excuse for shopping... So, you really should come and visit!!!
Oh, and I went to a music festival for a whole weekend. Never get tired of going (once a year) and having this festival experience (if you have been you know what I mean
Last but not least, the christmas party at Gore Street. As I might have mentioned before, I'm pretty sure I did, I have some lovely housemates and as none of us will be home for christmas we decided to have our 'family' christmas on another day in december. The idea turned out to be excellent, we even had a christmas tree, a roast chicken, christmas crackers, punch, kris kringle presents and played celebrity heads. I love Gore Street 215!
Ok. Before this turns into a novel, and nobody has time to read novels before christmas I better stop and upload some pictures to go with the stories. More to come as I'm going on a road trip to Great Ocean Road for christmas (party at the beach) and will be spending New Years in Sydney
Merry christmas and a happy New Year to all my wonderful family and friends in the whole world! Even if we don't get a chance to talk often I think of you heaps and hope I can see many of you again in 2007! Have a blast!

I'm really jealous although I am also having a one of here in Valencia... applying for Perth and Toronto as next steps! Should we make a bet who gets back to Berlin first?
Have a blast yourself, keep enjoying "faaaa faaa away" and hope to see you soon!
Hugs and Kisses,
Micha
