oday was an “At Sea” day as we traveled steadily back toward Miami. We'll arrive at port there sometime around 4 AM tomorrow morning.
Not a lot to report today. The weather wasn't very cooperative today – cool again, and overcast. Since everyone was aboard ship all day, the decks were lined with folks bundled against the chilly breeze, using beach towels or jackets. Still tolerable, but we would have preferred a hot sun!
We sat around reading, getting up occasionally for a bite to eat. Our breakfast partners today were two couples – one from Iowa, one from Idaho (our second Idaho couple in as many days).
Sharon has really been getting her money's worth out of her unlimited Diet Coke card!
By the way, yesterday's toast goes out to Cherie Reed, and today's to Tammy Wood. No pictures today, as my internet plan has a whopping one minute left, just enough to send this text.
We have to pack tonight, tag the luggage, and leave it in the hallway for the porters to pick up. We have to disembark by 10 am and will be hauled to the airport, where our flight doesn't leave until 3:45, so we'll have a lot of idle time there. I'll probably post once more from there..
Tonight we'll have one more dinner in the Galaxy Restaurant – their food and service has been superb. After that, not sure what the ladies have in mind. Hopefully, not more shopping!
