Bangkok is so humid and hot at the moment, i couldn't wait to get out of there.
I booked the last seat (apparently) on a sleeper train to Surat Thani, which is a drop off point for boats and buses to the west coast of Thailand. The train took 13 hours, though most of the trip was spent at a stand strill waiting for other trains to pass...
