Landing in Singapore

Well Ive made it! Next step of the trip starts here and boy was is a long flight! Left home early Tuesday 25th morning along with a fair few tears that seemed to have kept flowing all day, even with the exciting take-offs I usually find fun! Took the bus up to London with Holly and then the bus from Victoria to Heathrow, it was so tempting to stay on that bus and carry on back down to Exeter again but now Im out here Im fine, if a little daunted by the fact im all on my lone-some! It was a 12 hr flight to Malaysia where I changed flight to carry on to Singapore. Thank god someone came and met me when i got off the plane and escorted me to the next gate otherwise I would have been SO lost, there was even a train involved! Then touch-down in Singapore about 8pm tonight 26th and thought I'd do the backpacker thing and take the bus, how hard could it be! Trying to pronounce the Singapore Rd names was a little awkward but bless the bus driver he told me where to get off and it was just a short work to the Hostel, fortunatly as my bag seems to have been busted by the lovely airport staff already time to get the sewing kit out already! So far ive litteraly jumped in the shower and am off to call home but this hostel seems really friendly and quiet so Im looking forward to having a good look around tomorrow. xx
