First day nearly over and I quite like this city, in three words its clean, modern and green. I ventured out of bed pretty late but I think Im pretty much in the right time zone now so went over to the Botanical Gardens on the other side of town. Im quite proud really as I managed to get on the right bus and get off at the right stop even if I did get a few odd looks from people as I followed the buss's route the whole way on the map!
The Gardens were really good, they have two massive lakes in the middle and some really old trees. It was pretty hot but once I'd got out of my jeans I was fine and the hummidity only got really bad when a thunder storm passes in the afternoon. Managed to get stuck on the bus back as I missed my stop and ended up doing a full loop around the city, took hours!
I'm in OZ in may up in Brisbane for work. Will be there for about a week1!
