I love Singapore, everythng seems to be FREE! Ok so yesturday was a fab free day, I went off in the morning to see a small gallery showing off 100 original Andy Warhol Prints which were fantastic. It was only the first day of the opening so I expected it to be packed but it wasnt, due I think to the lack of publicitly, so I pretty much had the studio to myself. They had the classic's like the Cambell's soup (I got a free T-shirt!) and the Cambell's soup throw away dress, Celebrite prints and some more interesting prints like the 10 electric chair prints which were my favourites, I thought that the different cycaldellic colours really caught the form of electricity.
Then I went into the city to check out the Fashion Show that they are holding in a huge tented catwalk. I was planning on catching a few shows on the big screen outside untill I went into the Tourist Office and they said they had some spare tickets going just for tourists! Well I took one for both shows and it was FAB! Never been to one before and was loving looking so out of place! The secound show and 'drinks in the lounge' before being seated and there everyone is sipping champagne in their posh designer frocks, heels and make up to the 9's and theres little old me, sweating from trappsing around all day, no make up, huge bag and hair like i've just got out of bed with massive grin on my face, no wonder the cameras were avoiding me! But the two shows were excellent the first had Nine West shoes in it, the rest im affraid I had no clue who they were! The secound was all about fashion history with the classics and some amazing flowing ball gowns, it was hard not to just grab out and rip one off, I wanted al of them! They were fun shows and a great experiance esspecially with all the free stuff thrown in the goodie bags too, Dior perfume baby! xx
