About me

I was brought up in Melbourne, did my schooling and nursing training there and moved to Brisbane in 1981. Twenty years later I moved to the Gold Coast after owning 2 Nursing Homes,  and now live at the Glades Golf and Spa Resort and try to play golf at least twice a week in the Member's Competition. The Glades is a very social place with plenty of good neighbours and much socialising. Best thing I ever did was to move here. What they say about Queensland is true - beautiful one day, perfect the next!

I have an adorable miniature black poodle. He is nearly 8 months old and it is a constant battle to see who comes out on top in the 'Alpha Male' stakes. I think I'm winning.

I have a lovely 24 year old son David who lives in Brisbane with his girlfriend Jesse. He has just bought his first apartment in Enogerra and is Assistant Manager of Business Lending at the ANZ. He received a double degree in Economics and Commerce at UQ and, like me has a passion for the Share market.

About my trip

I leave on Thursday, 29th May on an Etihad flight - Business Class, from Brisbane Airport. After a 2 hour stopover in Abu Dhabi I fly to Munich and then onto Greece on Lufthansa Airlines arriving in Athens at 12-50pm on 30/5.

On 2/6 we fly to Crete for 3 days then travel by boat to the island of Santorini until 8th June when we sail to Mykonos for a few days before heading back to Athens. The following day I fly out and spend 2 nights in Abu Dhabi before arriving home on 14th June
