Days Twelve to Fifteen

July 28, 2012 - Broome, Australia

Broome was great!! Despite the cool morning breeze the days were lovely and warm. We parked our van near our Duncraig neighbours Nev & Kay and the boys had a great time chatting their ears off!! Cable beach is very picturesque, we spent lots of time there swimming, walking across the lovely smooth rocks at low tide and 'surfing' (although the swell was minute Jake had a fab time learning to stand on Paul's board!). We went on the Camel tour along the beach which the boys both loved. The camel behind us gave Paul a little love bite to the arm at the very end.....not sure what Paul said to him! We did the Courthouse Markets which had loads of great locally made crafts, spent the morning at Town Beach which has a great playground, grassed area and cafe right on the beach, and also an afternoon at the Malcom Douglas Croc Park where the boys got to hold a baby croc and watch the feeding of the big ones. Caught up with wonderful Boutle family one evening for some fish and chips by the beach at sunset :)  Good times in Broome. Now in Fitzroy Crossing for a few nights.
