Hello from Venice

May 26, 2008 - Venice, Italy

Hey everyone!

How are you all? Im all good, recovered from my first hangover yesterday! Thankfully we spent the day driving so I sleept for most of the ride which was good! We went to see the balcony where Romeo and Juliet was set! Nothing too exciting, just a balcony and it was only put there in the 1930s so it really didnt mean a lot!!

We then drove onto our camp site. We got real awesome cabins at this camp site. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge area! Im bunking in with Rachel, Angelica and Kristen this time round! Rachel is Aussie and Angelica and Kristen are from the States! We had dinner and then went to get ready for our toga party! Was very interesting to try and wrap a sheet around me and try to make it look good! I only had a few drinks and then it was off to bed for a semi early night.

This morning we got to have a bit of a sleep in and then we were on the shuttle into Venice. We had to walk to the places we needed to get to because Venice has no roads and the only way you get about is by walking or boat buses! We ended up in St Marks Square which had peigons flying in every direction possible! Walked around a bit and then went on the gonadalas. The man didnt sing to use though, but it was still a good way to see what Venice has to offer. Afterwards we were all hungry but couldnt find anything affordable to eat - as weve been told Venice is quite expensive. So instead we made our way back to the camp site to have a little bit of RnR so here I am now on the internet. Ive managed to upload a few photos so make sure you take a look. These are only a selection of the best ones, as I think I am up to about 400 photos now!

Tomorrow we are heading up to Austria for a night. When we get up there weather depending will be when I do my skydive. Fingers crossed the weather is all good and I can do this thing!!

Well its been a month since I arrived here and Im still having the best time of my life, even though I miss everybody back home so much!!!!

Best get going, my time is running out and still have a few things to do on the net.

Love to you all and I will let you all know how the skydive goes!!!
