The famous(or infamous) bridge over the River Kwai

December 1, 2009 - Kanchanaburi, Thailand

This is the Bridge over the River Kwai lit up at night. It is lit to as there is currently a week long festival in town to commemorate the events of WWII.
This bridge, also known as death railway bridge is part of the Thailand-Burma Railway that the Japanese forced allied POWs along with other sourced labourers to build.
