Hello all, well, this is a quick note to let you know that we have moved up our trip to the Queen Charlottes AGAIN.
Everything just seemed to work out that way, as we have seen all the islands we'd planned on seeing down here. We knew for sure we had made the right decision when we ran into Julian, a fellow traveller who worked alongside us at Iguana Ranch, at the Campbell River bus depot on a bus heading to Port Hardy to catch the same ferry we were. We will have lots of time to share our travelling adventures, as the ferry ride is 21 hours long.
We catch the ferry on May 16 at 4:30 p.m., arrive in Prince Rupert on May 17 at 1:45 p.m., then transfer over to another ferry that leaves at 4:30 p.m. and arrives in Skidegate at 11:15 p.m. We're not sure how long we'll stay just yet.
We will do our best to find Internet access somewhere at sometime to tell you all about our mid-island adventures - and we have, oh, one or two good ones - as well as our upcoming cruise.
Let's hope the crew on our ferry is very alert!
By the way, feel free to leave more comments - we miss you all.
