OK..it's been a few days. Wicked storms across Iowa. Couldn't find a hotel room all along the east side of the Mississippi as 100000 people without power so we pushed through to Dobuque, Iowa (actually stayed across the river in Dickeyville, Wisconsin for two nights. Rode the shortest independantly owned railway in Dubuque and checked out thr Greyhound races. I bet 5 bucks on #3 to place. I lost. Julie bet 2 bucks on #6 to place. She wone. As a couple we were down 20 cents so we left. We are now camping at the music festival.. Music starts tonight. Will take the Great River Road up the Mississippi after the weekend. Will likely stay inLa Cross and take a riverboat ride after the fest...Hope all is well. Thanks for all the comments,
