First Day in Kihei

Alina slept a little off but in it all, she did great. We woke up at 5 am and fed for a while, then Aunt Jennifer Mommy and Daddy took me for a walk on the beach. We walked for over an hour, and I was just taking it all in. I did not fuss, nor did I crash out. I just looked out on the water and checked out the great views on the beach. We came back for breakfast and a nap.

Today was a low key day. Michael is getting sick with an upper respiratory infection. Isn't that always the case when you finally get away for vacation??

We hit the local costco to stock up on food & beverages for the condo. GREAT travel tip - check out costco on your next vacay to purchase fish local to the area. We had wild marlin for dinner last night and cooked in foil on the grill. This costco also had several other varieties of wild fish available - all reasonably priced.

The weather was beautiful today. Our condo is right on the beach. The view is spectacular and the sound of the waves is so calming.
